Sad News - No longer updating LeLatte @ March 15th, 2015, 2:39 pm

Hi everybody,

Sadly I have some bad news today as Nina and I have made the difficult decision not to continue with LeLatte.

I'm sure it's not gone unnoticed that we haven't updated the comic in a while and any updates we have made have been sporadic at best. With Nina working full-time with the Yogscast and doing artwork on a daily (quite intense) basis she has simply become too burnt out too continue working on the comic in her spare time.

In addition, Nina just hasn't felt connected to the Fantasy setting of the comic and whilst we both love the characters we feel the universe is too generic and traditional.

With me working on my own personal project, we don't feel we can commit to rebooting the comic right now, but we still love the characters and do have an idea for a new universe to set the comic in so who knows what the future holds.

We hope you understand and we sincerely apologise to anybody who feels let down or disappointed. This sucks, but we just feel it's for the best right now.

Thank you for all the support in the past, from just reading online to buying Issue 0 at various shows. We've loved meeting all of the fans and it's been an incredible learning experience for both us. Thank you, again, so much.

All the best,
Mark & Nina.

New Villain & Resumed Schedule! @ August 10th, 2014, 2:11 pm

Hi all,

Last week we resumed a regular upload schedule for LeLatte, and we're happy to see the comic back on track and people coming back to catch up!

Neither Nina or I were happy about not uploading for so long, however real life sadly got in the way in a number of ways. Both of us moved to a new city, new apartment, start new jobs, as well as tons of events, trips and loads of other things prevented us from being able to really commit to a schedule.

However, that should be all settled now and we're back and at a very exciting part of this initial arc in LeLatte's story!

Recently, we've been introduced to some nefarious characters in the town of Flintsbrook and on Page 21 we see who is leading this group! Mr H is a mysterious character and he will introduce Farris and LeLatte to a larger scheme going on in Tysus.

We hope you enjoy it and thanks again for sticking with us!

Buy Issue Zero online now! @ May 31st, 2013, 2:21 pm

Hi everybody!

So, as we posted last week we went to MCM Expo in London to sell our first printed issue of LeLatte, Issue Zero!

It was a great show and we loved meeting existing readers and bringing some new ones to the site, however a lot of people couldn't make it (for whatever reason) and asked us if we could sell/send copies after the show.

Well, good news everyone! (read in Professor Farnsworth voice)

We now have an online store and you can buy Issue Zero *RIGHT NOW*

You can head to our new store here:

If we currently don't ship to your country please drop us a line via email, Twitter, or Facebook and we can try and add an option for you!

Ordering for Europe or the US/Canada

If you're ordering from Europe then the total cost in Euro is 11 EUR (that's the price of the comic & shipping, may vary depending on exchange rate).

If you're ordering from the US then total cost in US Dollars is $15.50 (again that's the comic plus shipping, may vary depending on exchange rate).

Ordering multiple issues has a built in discount for shipping.

The first twenty copies of Issue Zero sold online will be signed by both Nina and myself, but these will be sent out on a first come, first served basis! Sorry everybody, we just didn't have time to sign them all!

Thanks everybody! Please do share/link the new store to friends if you think they'd be interested in the comic and enjoy today's update!

Any further questions, please feel free to comment here or ask via Twitter (link in the sidebar on your right!)

All the best,
Mark & Nina

Hi everybody,

This Friday (and the weekend), Nina and I will be at MCM London ComicCon where we are selling the first printed issue of LeLatte.

LeLatte Issue Zero contains the entire prologue in 44, glorious, full-colour, US comic sized pages! For those who can attend MCM Expo, you can pick up this first print run for £5!

Nina will be sharing Table F6 in the comic village, she'll be alongside her studio sisters Kit Buss and Fez Baker so make sure you stop by to say hi and pick up a copy of Issue Zero!

Updates will proceed as normal (we even have a double-page update for you tomorrow whilst we're at the show) and we're planning on having extra updates each week until the prologue is complete!

Thanks for supporting the comic, we've been so overwhelmed at the support and love people have shown for our little unicorn-obsessed sorceress!

Issue Zero - Available at London MCM Comic Con! @ May 8th, 2013, 1:58 pm

It's been a bit quiet on the LeLatte social media pages lately, that's mainly because both myself and Nina have been busy getting everything ready for a big milestone for our little-comic.

Today we're very excited to announce that "LeLatte - Issue Zero" will be on-sale at the London MCM Comic Con on May 24th-26th at the ExCel centre in London!

Nina will be part of the Comic Village along with her group Windflower Studio and will be selling this full-colour, 44 page issue that contains th entire prologue chapter of LeLatte.

We'll be sharing more details as the con get's closer, but one thing to mention is that anyone who buys the comic at the expo will get a sneak peak ahead of the weekly schedule.

We're also going to look into selling any remaining copies online, and at taking pre-orders for a second print run after the show.

We hope you'll come along to the Expo (if you can!) and share this great news.

We're really excited to publish LeLatte in print, as we're both big comic fans and we hope that Issue Zero will look just at home amongst your other comics.

Take care and thanks for supporting!

All the best,
Mark & Nina

Hobbs and Burr - Dwarven bandits! @ April 26th, 2013, 5:19 pm

My, my, my!

So many double updates lately! Nina has been busy beavering away at creating the latest pages and thanks to her valiant efforts we've been able to show you guys more of the story and get you to the stuff we're *really* excited about!

Today's update is a pretty important one because it is the first time our two dastardly dwarven bandits have used their names!

So, meet Hobbs and Burr. These two are dwarven thieves/bandits on the run and looking to get back into the good books with their ex-colleagues.

I hope you've been enjoying the recent pages! As a quick reminder, please feel free to follow us on Twitter and Facebook to share your thoughts or ask any questions (or use the comment system here on Smackjeeves, we don't mind!).

Thanks for all the support and comments so far everybody!

Ratings & Teases @ March 20th, 2013, 3:40 pm

Hi everybody, Mark here with a little update for you.

After months of hair-pulling frustration I finally managed to get our ratings system working for our comic pages (thanks to some nice support from the SmackJeeves team!).

At the top of every page you can now give us 0-5 hearts for each page. So please use it to let us know if you really enjoyed (or didn't enjoy) a particular page!

I've also tidied up a few links and some bits and bobs around the site, just to make things a little clearer for you! :)

In other news!

This week, Nina and I got to see our lovely friends at http://www.gametee.co.uk/ to show us some of their amazing t-shirts, prints and mugs.

The quality of their stuff is incredible and comes in gorgeous packaging that would fit right into a high-class fashion retail store. We were also blown away by two super cute gifts they brought us in the form of these prototype mugs!

Prototypes?! You may ask yourself. Will these be on sale?! Ohohoho, you will have to wait and see my friends. Wait and see!

That's all for now folks, new page will be up at 8pm GMT on Friday as usual!

Take care and thanks for all the unicorns.
